By focusing the limited resources available for promotion of agricultural value chains, there is
a higher likelihood of realising genuine livelihood improvements for households
Outputs and Outcomes
I. Helped to secure and provide access to farming land estimated at
more than 100,000 hectares
II. Pooled in private sector direct investment and resourcing into
agriculture to the tune of over £5Million
III. Operated through prime projects across more than 8 different
value/supply chains with dealership in more than 20 different
agricultural commodities
IV. Trained more than 15,000 smallholders, producers and value chain
actors on good agricultural practices and business development
V. Strengthening synergies with the development of more than 30
working contracts and partnerships towards driving food and
nutritional security and for better market access
VI. Rendered various specialized services oriented towards
developing agricultural value chains and supply chains valued to the
tune of £1 Million
